Good and not so good

THE GOOD: I like the layout of the features and the controls are well placed. The night camera is really good, need a tripod though. The normal camera is also good with focus and exposure adjustments on the left margin. I like the ability to change the video settings on the fly instead of going to the iPhone settings and changing them there. The edit features are liked as well. The slomo option is cool. I like the fact that you can start and stop the slow-motion by touching the snail on the screen. The TIME LAPSE feature is awesome! I like the different settings that can be made. Being able to adjust the contrast, color temperature, exposure etc to the video and saving it as a new vid or overwriting the original is priceless. Most of the reviews here are correct, its an awesome app. However I may pick up more details about the camera than most people do because Im a photographer. I highly recommend this app after some issues have been fixed, see below.

THE BAD:
I discovered that the normal camera image quality is bad in low light... Very grainy and blotchy. I compared it with pro camera 8 at the same ISO and pro camera 8 was much cleaner, also the default iPhone camera was also much cleaner, no blotching. Software tweaks are needed to make the camera image quality better in lower light, I cant get the app to produce an ISO lower than 160 indoors! Photos look bad at full rez very grainy. The app uses high ISO all the time indoors and that is lame. I guess if the IQ doesnt improve soon, Ill get a refund. A $5 app should have better image quality from the standard camera. IQ is good in normal light. HDR, this is not very good. The blending puts halos around the dark objects that are in front of the bright areas and it needs a lot of work. It looks worse when blend is set to "high". I will continue to use Vivid HDR for my HDR needs. Video doesnt support image stabilization in 4k mode, (shaky on my 6s plus) compared to the default iPhone app, the difference is Noticeable! I would like an option to use tiff and be able to adjust the ISO. Otherwise its a great app with great features. It just needs more tweaking. Ill post another review after some updates have been made...
